Tina, photographe et révolutionnaire est un long métrage documentaire parsemé de scène de reconstitution animées retrace la vie tumultueuse de la photographe Tina Modotti. Femme résolument moderne, elle a tenté de mener de front une carrière d’artiste avant-gardiste et un militantisme à tout épreuve. Femme passionnée et libre, Tina a eu plusieurs amants aussi bien chez les hommes politiques que les artistes. À une époque où les libertés acquises par les femmes sont partiellement remise en cause, le parcours de vie de Tina est une source d’inspiration pour l’auteure qui nous entraine à la découverte de tranches de vie de la photographe.

Tina, Photographer & Revolutionary is a feature-length documentary with animated reenactment scenes that traces the tumultuous life of photographer Tina Modotti. A resolutely modern woman, she tried to combine a career as an avant-garde artist with a relentless activism. A passionate and free woman, Tina had several lovers, both politicians and artists. At a time when the freedoms acquired by women are partially challenged, the life of Tina is a source of inspiration for the author, who takes us on a journey of discovery through the life of this fascinating photographer.
